Why Guarding for Lift Tables?
Our lift table guarding protects the associate and the equipment. The associate is guarded from the hazards of the scissor pinch points and the equipment is protected from debris that can damage the critical components of the system. The black and yellow, or all yellow convolutions also increase safety for near by associates by visually indicating moving parts.

Lift Table Guarding Features
Our thick vinyl provides the durability that industrial applications require. While some suppliers use a thinner 18oz material, we know that durability is the key for heavy use applications. We don’t want to put our customers in a situation where the scissor lift table bellows is too thin and requires replacing not long after installation.
- Heavy Duty Industrial Grade 22oz Vinyl
- Vinyl coated flame retarded polyester
- Maintenance straps to keep the skirt in the raised position for quick maintenance
- Vent panels that allow air to flow into and out of the bellows during lifting and lowering
Akon also offers various color configurations for your lift table guarding projects. While 90% of produced skirts are black and yellow, we also offer all black or all yellow colors. If those color combinations do not meet your needs, then simply ask us to quote a custom color for you. We will be more than happy to work with you and all of your preferences.
