We have several models of guarding which range from side-to-side roller guards which provide a very small footprint and allow for rapid deployment. We also supply integrators and plant safety departments with vertical roller shades which are mounted to the floor in a more traditional fashion.
Flexibility by Design
Our machinery guard fencing is a very versatile assembly which consists of minimum components which are quick to unpack and install. All brackets and mounting hardware is shipped with your order with easy-to-follow directions which almost any maintenance person can follow.
Safety sensors can also be integrated into the fencing. For instance, we can integrate a safety interlock switch which will not allow the machine or robot to operate unless the guarding is completely closed. This prevents the operators from bypassing the guarding which can become a huge liability for the company. 
Akon can also work with you to determine if you require different guards for different sides of your work area. For instance, a typical work cell has four sides which had to be covered; you may however only need to have retractable guarding on one or two side where material is moved into or out of the work cell. The other two sides, could possibly be less expensive static machinery guard fencing. In this instance, we will recommend the most economical means for guarding your entire work area with special considerations to your budget and timeline.
