• High Grade Vinyl – One of the most important features of accordion lift table skirts is the quality of the material. Too thin of material will not hold up to the rigors of production, and too thick of material and the skirt will not collapse correctly. Akon knows just the right thickness to hold up longer and function better.

• Bolt on Attachment – While Velcro attachment is standard, we also offer a bolt on package where we supply the flat bar and mounting hardware required to securely mount the bellows to the lift. This method is ideal for large accordion lift table skirts as it will not peel off of the lifter like Velcro attachments can.

• Ventilation – Having the proper air flow into and out of the bellows is critical to the function of the skirt. If air can not flow into the lift when it cycles upward, then the skirt can suck inwards which deforms it. This is why Akon provides vent panels located at the top of the skirting to accommodate proper air flow.

Safety Function

Our accordion lift table skirts provide protection to the operator’s hands and feet from the moving parts of the equipment. A scissor lift that raises and lowers presents many opportunities for the associate to place their feet inside of the equipment. This is due simply to the fact that many processes require the associate to stand within inches of the lift’s base to access material.

When working in such close proximity to moving parts, they must be properly covered. Akon’s accordion lift table skirts do just that. While we supply these lift table bellows in all shapes and sizes, they all serve the same purpose, to protect your workers!
