Some other information that will be very helpful for us, is the method in which you would like to attach the skirt to the lift. While there are several mounting options, we suggest the flat steel bar with tek screws. This mount will withhold frequent cycling and will keep the dock lift bellows attached for the longest time. While other attachment methods are available, this method is preferred by most of our customers for its reliability.
Installing the Dock Lift Skirts
Installing the skirting onto the equipment is very straightforward and will require about 10 minutes of your time. Once you receive the packaged roller skirts, simply unpack them and bolt them to the dock lift. Once in place, check for any obstructions that might rip the guard during the up and down movement. If the travel path is clear, then proceed with bolting the skirts to the perimeter. Finally, operate the equipment both in the up direction, and the down direction. If there are no obstructions that are catching onto the skirt, then you are finished.
