Description

CS500 cable welding curtains protect welding cells where nothing can be on the floor or overhead. A steel cable runs from one side of the cell to the other and carries the curtain. The operator walks the cable and curtain to the mounting fixture, up to 26' away, and the curtain blocks welding sparks, welding rays, and flying debris.

Key Benefits

  • Stocked and Ready To Ship - Ships in 2-3 work days
  • Span: Up to 26'
  • No Obstructions: Nothing on the floor or overhead
  • Crane Access: Remove the cable and curtain for overhead cranes
  • Slides Open: Moves on the cable like a shower curtain
  • Storage: Rotates 180° to store on the cable guide

How It Works

CS500 sliding welding curtain on a steel cable

Clear Overhead Access

Overhead suspension systems can get in the way of material handling. The CS500 cable and curtain detach easily so cranes and lift equipment can pass, then extend again to protect the area. Shown with the optional free-standing mounting post.

CS500 tension cable mounting

Tension Cable Mounting

The curtain stores on the cable guide, and the whole assembly rotates 180° for safe storage. Combining a safety curtain with a suspension device, the CS500 extends and retracts to span up to 26'.

CS500 curtain sliding open on the cable

Curtain Slides Easily

Once extended, the curtain slides on the cable like a shower curtain on a rail. Its connectors glide along the cable, so you can open and close the curtain without taking the cable down.
